Question 1

What is Mula?

Accepted Answer

Mula is a self-custodial agentic bank. Sign in and you get a wallet that is yours, agents that trade within a limit you set, familiar tools (send, receive, swap, earn) on USDC on Base, and a card for you to spend what it earns.

Question 2

Does Mula hold my keys?

Accepted Answer

No. The wallet is yours. Mula cannot move money unless you sign, or you grant a capped permission you can revoke. Chat, bots, and assistants never see your keys.

Question 3

How do I use Mula from Grok Bot or ChatGPT?

Accepted Answer

Add the connector https://mymula.xyz/mcp in Grok Bot (Settings → Connectors) or ChatGPT (Developer mode). Reads are instant. Money moves require your confirmation and a passkey.

Question 4

What is the primary currency and chain?

Accepted Answer

USDC on Base. You pay network fees in ETH unless a free-gas promo is on. Deposit addresses also include Solana.

Question 5

What does an agent cost?

Accepted Answer

Holding, sending, earning, and chat are free. One followed agent is $1 a day, paid in USDC from your own wallet, charged for the time it actually runs and taken as one transfer rather than a stream of small ones. If the wallet runs low that follow pauses and resumes itself after a top-up.

Question 6

Can Telegram or Discord send my money?

Accepted Answer

No. Those doors show balances and signals. Money only moves where you can sign - the web app, Mini App, or an MCP quote you approve with a passkey.
